A true Kansas City tradition, Hereford House restaurants have been offering visitors and Kansas Citians premier steak and customer service since 1957. One of the fastest-growing areas in Kansas City is Independence, Mo., home to the fourth Hereford House restaurant. Adjacent to the new Hilton Garden Convention Center, this location offers seating for one to 150, with access to the Hilton's banquet room for 650.

Friendly service, inviting environment, varied menu of made from scratch recipes and premium cuts of Sterling beef, fresh seafood, poultry and an award-winning wine list have made it one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Our vibrant and friendly bar is the perfect place to catch a Happy Hour drink, appetizer, enjoy a designer martini and great conversation any day of the week.

In addition to our comfortable dining rooms, our private dining and banquet rooms are optimally designed for business events, personal celebrations and group entertaining. LCD, LED screens, broadband internet connections and AV equipment are available upon request for presentation convenience.

Banquet and Private Dining Facilities: Inside the Hereford House in Independence we have The Trail Room - perfect for private parties up to 80 guests.  The Tack Room can accommodate up to 35 guests; 3 separate private dining rooms designed for groups of 6-12 guests and the wine room will hold a party of 6.  We are able to accommodate up to 600 guests in the Hartman Heritage Conference Center
